With the building costs and tight Government budgets making New Zealand’s planned hospital builds more challenging, do you think there is a place for lobbying to build parts of these new assets with exposed mass timber, as biophilic environments are proven to speed recoveries.  How do we do it; got any suggestions? Is there a role for a group of AEC leaders who can make a case for using more mass timber in health facilities?
