Welcome to WoodWorks

Greetings from your WoodWorks team. For our WoodWorks 2026 National Conference in Hastings in October, one of the site visits is to the new building and adaptive reuse project for Napier City Council – their new library.

Melbourne’s new underground station entrance features an 80-metre timber roof made with HASSLACHER glulam and CLT. Check out the great photos.

NLT, or nail-laminated timber, is used more often in Canada and North America than in New Zealand, prompting the question of why it’s less common here.

The award-winning, 10-storey mass timber building at George Brown Polytechnic’s Waterfront Campus is a landmark project in sustainable institutional construction.
