This week in our ‘Speakers Focus’ we have Nick Hewson from Arboralis in Sydney, Australia, who is kicking Session 2 off with his presentation titled “Mass Timber Lessons from Australia: What’s Working Best across the Tasman?” Following Nick, Jasper van der Lingen, Director at Sheppard and Rout Architects, and Renée Williamson, Registered Architect at Arthouse Architects, will share compelling case studies on the use of mass timber construction in multistorey learning environments. Eric McDonnell from Holmes is our final speaker for Session 2 and will be presenting on “Point Supported CLT Panel Design and its Application for the ANZ Market.” The session will conclude with a Q&A panel featuring all Session 2 speakers, providing a unique opportunity to engage with experts and deepen your understanding of mass timber innovations.
Join us at the upcoming WoodWorks conference along with the optional post-conference Mass Timber Building Site Visit at Arvida’s Bethlehem Shores. Bethlehem Shores is Arvida’s fourth mass timber development and represents a long-term commitment to and leadership of our industry.
