Sydney’s skyline is changing with the reveal of the first timber habitat at Atlassian Central – the world’s tallest hybrid timber commercial tower, co-owned by Dexus and Atlassian.
Atlassian Central is one of the world’s most ambitious hybrid-timber projects, with 10,000 cubic metres to be used in construction of the tower.
This milestone showcases a four-storey zone built from Glulam timber columns and beams and Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) slabs, replacing traditional steel and concrete. The Spruce wood used is highly specialised and sourced from Europe.
