US’ tallest mass timber office building

Architecture studios Waugh Thistleton Architects and Mithun have designed a 12-storey mass-timber office block in Bellevue, Washington.

Designed for developer and contractor Skanska, the Bevel tower will become the tallest timber office building in the US, when it’s complete. It is also Waugh Thistleton Architects’ first project in the US.

Bevel is a 12-storey mass-timber office tower in Bellevue, Washington, set to become the tallest timber office building in the US. It’s also Waugh Thistleton Architects’ first project in the US.

A two-storey community facility in Langford, BC is being built as North America’s first commercial volumetric mass timber building, combining licensed childcare with an arts and culture centre while reducing construction time, waste, and carbon footprint.
