Last year, the WoodWorks Conference attracted over 200 leaders in engineered timber design and construction, with another brilliant line up expected on 4 & 5 this November.
With a shared focus to help facilitate the increase in capability and use of timber throughout New Zealand, WoodWorks & MRWC have partnered to add an additional site visit to the programme, on the final day.
Attendees will now have the option to choose between these projects:
- 3-storey library and community hub – the first building to be constructed as part of Te Manawataki o Te Papa, currently under construction on Willow Street in the heart of Tauranga.
- Red Stag Industrial – a visit to the Southern Hemisphere’s largest sawmill, and the leading producer of timber industrial buildings. It’s your chance to see some of New Zealand’s most innovative timber industrial buildings. Registration for this site visit must be done separately via this link here – spaces are limited.
You do not have to attend the WoodWorks conference to attend the Red Stag site visit – all industry professionals are welcome.
If you haven’t already, register for the WoodWorks Conference 2025 here.
