Palmerston North Airport project update

7 July 2026

On site at Palmerston North Airport Ltd. the installation of the glulam roof is starting to define the scale of the terminal spaces below. ✈️

The design and delivery of the bespoke timber structure has required close coordination between Studio Pacific, Beca, and the wider team, with careful staging and sequencing led by LT McGuinness Ltd.

With the primary structure now visible, work will progress towards completing the external envelope, including roofing, cladding, and glazing, moving the terminal closer to being weathertight and ready for the next phase of construction.
